Day 29

I would love to tell you that each day I grab my camera and I’m filled with purpose when it comes to this series.  sigh.  It isn’t so.

Today was a lazy day.  I didn’t pull my camera out of my bag at church.  It stayed in my bag while I played paw patrol.  My bag was in an entirely different room when I was watching a movie with my kiddos.  And the thought of grabbing my camera never crossed my mind during dinner or bath time.

I could be upset with this and call myself a failure for being lazy, but I am choosing mercy and grace.

I snapped this photo below with my cell phone as I followed up on work.  It was bed time and all the kids were in bed.

Too tired to go and get my camera, I figured a simple cell phone pic would do.  In fact, maybe it tells a story too. What do you think?

Does it tell a story of a tired single momma of 4 who still tries desperately to run a business and provide for her family?  Does it tell you that she is exhausted, but she pushes on no matter how late she has to stay up?  Or maybe it shows how important her family is and she would rather work in to exhaustion at night than miss a moment with her kiddos?

I guess it could tell many stories.

And as I sit her and write this with my eyes closed more than they stay open, I know my story.
